Razer Naga & Modifiers (mac)

Hi, I'm a newcomer to FFXIV and I'm loving the game so far a major problem I've encountered is my inability to map over 12 keys to the thumbpad on my razer naga I've got the first bank of hotkeys mapped that was fairly easy. Where I've run into difficulties is when I attempt to add a modifier in order to add additional banks of hotkeys

First bank of hotkeys

1. Numpad 1
2. Numpad 2
3. Numpad 3
4. Numpad 4
5. Numpad 5
6. Numpad 6
   and so forth

Ive found it impossible to add the ctrl (or alt) modifier (as below)

Second bank of hotkeys

1. Ctrl + Numpad 1
2. Ctrl + Numpad 2
3. Ctrl + Numpad 3
4. Ctrl + Numpad 4
5. Ctrl + Numpad 5
6. Ctrl + Numpad 6
   and so forth

If anyone has any suggestions about how I can achieve this it'd be a huge help

Try Swaping your naga over to numbers(1,2,3 etc) over the num pad numbers.
Iv had issue in the past sort of like this. Iv not ran into this on XIV thou. I use a Naga and have a few of the num pad buttons as a hot key on my nage. Thou ther not the numbered on its the num / and num * both of these work as well as wit shift+ and crl+ These are the only two i use on my naga thou that are on the num pad keys.

its easy to add modifiers with just keyboard so ctrl + keyboard 1 is easy to achieve for some reason its impossible to combine naga + modifier its extremely frustrating

Where do you mean you are attempting to set "additional banks of hotkeys"? Is this a Razer-specific thing?

Could you not achieve what you want to achieve by just setting keybinds in the game using modifier keys and the set of hotkeys you've bound to your mouse?
Or is this in fact what you are already trying to do, and the in-game keybind window isn't agreeing with your mouse?

I don't think I've explained myself very well I aim to have 3 hot bars set up to work in conjunction with my naga which has 12 keys on the side panel

1. naga 1 button
2. naga 2 button
3. naga 3 button
4. naga 4 button
5. naga 5 button
6. naga 6 button
7. naga 7 button
8. naga 8 button
9. naga 9 button
10. naga 10 button
11. naga 11 button
12. naga 12 button

Then I plan to have 2 more hot bars accessed by modifier keys ctrl & alt

1. naga 1 button + ctrl
2. naga 2 button + ctrl
3. naga 3 button + ctrl
4. naga 4 button + ctrl
5. naga 5 button + ctrl
6. naga 6 button + ctrl
7. naga 7 button + ctrl
8. naga 8 button + ctrl
9. naga 9 button + ctrl
10. naga 10 button + ctrl
11. naga 11 button + ctrl
12. naga 12 button + ctrl

1. naga 1 button + alt
2. naga 2 button + alt
3. naga 3 button + alt
4. naga 4 button + alt
5. naga 5 button + alt
6. naga 6 button + alt
7. naga 7 button + alt
8. naga 8 button + alt
9. naga 9 button + alt
10. naga 10 button + alt
11. naga 11 button + alt
12. naga 12 button + alt

so in total, I'll have easy access to 36 hotkeys which I suspect is more than enough for most if not all classes I hope this clarifies my problem as it stands I am unable to bind naga button AND modifier key keyboard key AND modifier is pretty straightforward

I don't have a naga, so this might not be helpful, but on my Orbweaver I have to use macros to do alt/ctrl/shift + key combinations.

Are you saying that you can't hit, say, ctrl on your keyboard and the button on your Naga for a ctrl+key combination?

Hi I'm still struggling to add modifiers for additional hotkeys so in effect I'm limited to one 12 key Hotbar which is pretty limiting
