Stat weights aren’t really used anymore, and haven’t since HW. There are priorities when it comes to substats, which for DNC would look something like this:

Critical Hit = Direct Hit > Determination >>>>>>>>>> Skill Speed

Critical Hit and Direct Hit are relatively of equal value to the job, and balancing between them depend on if you break the next stat threshold or not. Determination is the third priority stat, as Crit and D.Hit scale better compared to it. And DNC does not like Skill Speed. Current BiS for the job has no Skill Speed on any of the gear, giving us a very comfy 2.5s GCD.
