sure but their attack power is then reduced by 500% for aoe skills.
I honestly don't want this to be the case because it would just further reduce the incentive for people to run the dungeons with actual players if they can clear nearly as quickly using trusts.
I already find it questionable that you're allowed to farm goetia/phatasmagoria tomestones with them by spamming the level 80 MSQ dungeon as those have previously been tied strictly to content that's either time-restricted (Like hunt marks) or group focused.

I don't really notice the lack of AoE. If I'm doing DPS I do the lion's share of it. If I tank I'm to scared to pull wall to wall since I can't trust the healers to keep me up (Especially that scrub Urianger, I think he checks out and is watching pixie porn or something.) As a healer Thancred pulls small too.
I really like trusts, but as others have said if you want speed then queue with a group.

Nonsense. Roulettes come with more tomes and real players would still be much faster because Trusts don't wall-to-wall pull and have low single target dps. Squadrons too are miles faster than non-roulette dungeons for leveling alts and that hasn't affected dungeon queues at all. Trusts using aoe would probably make it 5 minutes faster.
I disagree with the idea of deliberately making an enjoyable feature bad to discourage people from enjoying it too much.
I would say no to this.
Run with Trust = alot Slower but able to solo
Run with Actual People = Quicker and more effective, but potential for a wait que
I think this is how it should be. If trust become too effective you can just remove the party function at all. All in all Trust have to come with a major drawback to using to make party gameplay still a valid thing.
If they do allow trust to mass aoe mobs... I think XP rewarded per kill on the mobs should be reduced to compensate. Kill 50% quicker xp reduced by 50% and so on.
This combined with AI tweaks for Urianger and Alisaie would make Trusts a lot more enjoyable, imo.
We have to go so far as to remove party function when trust only aviable on lv 71-80 msq dungeon? and reduce exp reward when it already took so many runs to level up trust so they can go with us to the next dungeon?I would say no to this.
