    Unable to login

    Was playing this evening on Omega when I had a lost connection error. Not too unusual, as the rooter is fairly new and resets. However today, when trying to log back in, I get an error saying "World data not found". No char picture shown, plus no details on the side.

    Had this a few times, then managed to get in a queue. Yay, I might get back to playing. Only to find that I am stuck in 17th place in a queue that is not ending.

    Concurrently, my partner has the same issues as me, though they are 18th in the queue. Constantly. Even when I am not. He has reset his game etc, whilst I have tried to see if patience will work. Sadly neither have.

    Any suggestions? We were about to put our retainers out on 18hr ventures so would like to get this sorted tonight.

    Brief update. Got 1016 error after 20 minutes or so of waiting to reconnect. "World data could not be obtained. Please try logging in later."

    It looks as though these have cleared up, are you still experiencing issues?

    I've been having this same issue for the past 2 days. I messaged customer service and they directed me here.

    I moved into a student dorm 2 days ago. We talked about the different wifi options and I'm using the network they recommended. This guest network is permitted to run games.

    Windows 10 with ffxiv launcher
    Server: Aether
    World: Sargantanas
    Connecting from: North America
