    GM Feedback - Zeigunav

I would like to thank GM Zeigunav for responding to my harassment claim so quickly. I am glad that my ticket was taken seriously, as it was for behavior that not only disrupted play for myself and two other strangers in duty finder, but was generally disrespectful and meanspirited.

However, I do want to leave the following feedback about the timing and content of GM Zeigunav's instructions:

I was contacted in the middle of a dungeon duty, at which time I was the healer of the group. I did not feel as though I could ask my current party to wait for an extended length of time while I discussed my ticket with the GM, so I felt rushed and distracted while I tried to reply. Since I presume GMs can see where players are in the world, I would ask that they please be more mindful when replying to cases that might involve some discussion.

As a result of the above, I felt I had no choice but to agree with some of the GM's reading of events and final instructions, as very little time was allowed for discussion. I would have voiced this directly to the GM if I didn't feel rushed and if they had not moved on so quickly. I do not want to get into specifics about what portion of the message I took umbrage with, but I did disagree with some of the implications.

I do thank the GMs for being vigilant and quick to respond to these matters. In general, I feel that the revised "prohibited behaviors" policy is greatly warranted and is cutting down on the number of disruptive players I encounter.

Re: point 2 - you can still report someone after kicking them, since asking to be kicked to avoid the penalty is against the ToS on top of whatever actions they were doing that might also qualify. This is the best option for everyone, since you don't have to deal with them anymore and they will still be investigated for a possible warning.

Re: point 3 - the GM is correct that refusing to heal someone is against ToS. Doing that would negate any report you might make against said player and might land you a warning yourself. I.e. Just because they are being disruptive doesn't give you licence to be disruptive in return as a retaliation. The best course of action is to kick them or vote abandon if you don't want to play with them. The fact that they want to be kicked doesn't have a bearing on this, since as per point 2 above they can be reported for simply asking for it. I speak from experience here. My one and only warning was after two failed first pulls in Baelsar's wall where I initiated a vote abandon which failed, politely asked to be kicked, was politely refused, so I left and took the 30 minute DF lockout. About an hour later I got a warning for it. No swearing or name calling was involved. It was just, 'this isn't working, please kick me" and leaving a minute later.

Thank you Mhaeric. I'd edited the original post to omit those details as they ultimately were not the core issue I wanted to leave feedback about, but I'll keep them in mind.

Thanks for the information, I didn't know they were taking action against people asking to be kick. Have a story where we wiped after the healer pulled more adds and the tank couldn't handle (he was out of defensive CD). He refused to heal, asking to be kicked for upward 10 minutes.. Gotta admit I was impressed by the sudden solidarity between 3 strangers: we refused to give him a free way out and finished the dungeon without any real problem tbh.. That healer threatened to report us, I wonder how that turned out.
