PC Hard Freeze/lockup no error no bsod(suspected due to fps issues)

I'm having the same behavior as you, but I can't link it to fps issues. I've tested every component, stress tested, graphically intense games, graphically similar games, games that are harder on the CPU, but they're all fine. FFXIV started crashing this week, it happened once a day for a few days, then every couple of hours, now I can't expect to stay online more than 5-10 minutes.

Computer goes to black screen, PC is completely locked up (num lock is stuck on like in a full freeze). It doesn't even blue screen; event viewer doesn't pick up the crash other than errors about the PC shutting down unexpectedly. Windows and drivers are all up to date. I've stopped short of reinstalling hoping to hear something in this forum, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen soon.

Please look into doing maintenance on your fps system/limiter whatever it is you guys can do. my pc is good enough to run max settings 4k with a gtx 2080ti but all day today my game was running at 30 fps or less in dungeons and when i move it drops as low as 10 in housing wards. this all began when you initiated the fps changes please look into that...
