IMO all 3 jobs u mentioned are fun, but between SMN and MCH I find SMN more fun cause I can raise teammates when they die.
My advice to you is if you have floor 51 of palace of the dead unlocked u can try out jobs in there with alot of thier abilities unlocked, gives u an ok feel of how a job plays to see if u wanna lvl em.
In case u don't have palace of the dead unlocked u can unlock it in new gridania, the quest is called the house that death built.
The only way you're really going to find out if a job is fun or not is to play it yourself. BLM looked fun on paper, now I find myself drifting away to play SAM...
I don't have experience with the other two jobs, but I can say that SMN is in a bit of a weird place right now. That being said, I'm being cautiously optimistic that things will look somewhat better after 5.1 drops. Despite what some may say, SMN isn't too difficult to learn the overall basics of, but optimizing the job to get the most out of it can take a bit of work. But if you like jobs that keep you engaged and on your toes, it can be a very fun job as you'll be keeping track of your DOTs while weaving/double-weaving OGCDs between your hard casts frequently. You might also enjoy it if you like playing a job that has various mini-burst phases. Unfortunately, SMN lost its most vital utility skills with the new expansion, but you still have the ability to rez people in emergencies and can also use Aetherpact to buff everyone's damage for a few seconds, though that particular buff can be used only once every three minutes. Still, I say give it a try and see what you think. Ultimately the best way to find out if you like a job is to play it yourself, after all. Whichever one you end up with, I hope you have fun with it all the same!
Which job is more fun? ...The one you enjoy playing more.
Elezen Wood - Bard - Full crit.
If you are lucky, you proc like a truc and be a DPS god.
If you're unlucky, no proc, and DPS like a healer
Unpopular opinion: Dark.
Besides that, the new class DNC is pretty fun and the always reliable DRG, its the most popular job for a reason.
Id say high mobility - busy jobs are more fun.
Ninja is probably way too busy.
I've heard lots recommend SAM, its DPS isnt the best currently but its potencies are looking at getting buffed.
but gameplay wise i hear its really good.
Play them and you'll know. No one on this forum knows what kind of job will please you personally..
If you want a idea of the job you can look at videos on youtube. This one date from SB days, but is still somewhat relevant.

Entirely subjective. You need to try each one and see. As an example, I have seen many people say that DRK is no longer fun for them, and at the same time, many people are saying that their enjoying the new DRK. Unfortunately, no one can tell you what you enjoy but yourself.
That being said, each class has a different feel (for the most part), and Id recommend you try your hands at a few different types. tank / DPS / heals, and ranged / melee / caster. I play Dancer at the moment, but my Bard is close behind ( played bard since ARR), and My Paladin is currently my highest tank (almost 70), though I played WAR up through HW. I currently have 80% of the classes past lvl 60, with the exception of BLM and WHM. Just can't get into those cast timers. I also struggle with monk, though many people enjoy the playstyle (haven't tried it since SB though).
