limiting plot relocate to one every 3 months

There are players and FC's going around plot hopping from place to place using the relocate to get the plots..please limit this for both players and FC's to 1 plot relocate every 3 months. players are being beaten out by other players and FC's who are relocating plots 2-3 times a week which put people or FC's trying to buy a house again or for the first time a chance out of contention..

If all plot's were equal and if all Residential Districts were equal then I would agree, but they are not. The Goblet is my least favourite district and if an opportunity arises to move elsewhere I would. If I moved to The Mist and then a month later Shirogane opened up, I would be there in a heartbeat.

I doubt the majority would be plot jumping as described. Everyone who owns a house should be able to upgrade their plot location as they see fit as it's not free. The problem I see it is with the timers and there have been plenty of threads on those.

Upgrading to a "better" ward every 3 months would not be so bad. That said, people move around so infrequently because of the hassle of redecorating, that I'm not sure a 3 month timer will solve anything.

The 3 month timer seems very arbitrary, when the problem is still with timers for first time home buyers. It's not going to help you with RNG timers on click spamming placards, so not changing your actual odds of getting the house. I am aware people grief with plot relocation but at the same time there's FC's that legitimately want to move to better plots not just griefers. We'd be better off with added instanced housing for all and Squeenix making the current housing legacy housing.

Relocating should have to wait out the same timer as everyone else when a plot opens up. I'm fine with the timer, I understand it, but it needs to be there for EVERYONE, not just some people.

Limiting relocation will not solve anything but just add salt to an already grown problem.

As already mentioned above plots have different values. I might snagged one in Goblets - my least favorite ward. Then something opens up in Lavender Beds - and now I have to make a decision: Do I go for the Lavender Beds and wait the three months before relocating again? Or do I stick to my hateful Goblets because I actually want to move to Mists but nothing had opened so far?

Plot-hopping is basically people trying to improve the value of their plot. Mostly they have a specific plot in mind (sometimes very specific with: "Mists, Plot 5!" - sometimes more like: "Shirogane, beach"). And you are losing lots of money on it because relocation is not free. You still have to pay a fee. Heck, when I wanted to move from my mansion back to a medium one I still had to pay a fee for relocation. So not only did I lose on the 50m I already payed for the mansion but also pay a percentage of the medium plot as well.

Plot hopping is a luxury not everyone can afford.
