    Jobs having elaborate animations is flare. Everyone standing in one spot doing nothing is boring. I recently picked up MCH again after leaving it at level ~60 during SB and I love the 'acrobatic' animations because it looks cool and it's not the same boring animations of my character just standing in place occasionally pointing his gun.

    Also be realistic: This is the third expansion, and there hasn't been anything even close to animation options being added except for idle animations that were added in ARR. You're wasting your time. I doubt they'd put all that work into such complex animations just to let you choose the boring ones.

    I'm implying you didn't read it because your first post brought nothing of value to the discussion.

    BRD is mostly standing in place. It has a few more wild animations, but it has nice balance between being cool and toned down.
    GNB has 2 jumps, and it actually makes sense to cut from above. And also we don't do backflip during it.
    RDM has 3 backflips. Displacement, because it makes sense. Engagement, imho kinda too crazy, but it's situational oGCD, so no problems. And Contre-Sixte, but it's very well made animation, it looks like we are giving greater force to our attack. Beside that as RDM (and other casters) you "stand in place like a cardboard cut-out" (which is absolutely fine).
    For MCH almost everything is crazy. Zero balance between "cool" and toned down. I honestly would love to have these animations as oGCDs, but not as GCDs, the things we see the most often, but at this point they won't rework it again. Pretty much we have a gun, but we can't use it the most basic way, like other jobs can use their weapons. For me 3.0 MCH was very similar to BRD, but if people like heated animations i don't want to take it away. I just want an option to choose the ones i find superior (and not only me).

    TL : DR - all other jobs have good balance between cool and stylish, while MCH has very crazy animations on almost all actions, including main combo.

    It's worth to add that with original animations your character actually walks, and not slides on the ground. In 3.0 i loved that job, it felt like peak of FFXIV animation design.
