What is the actual date when the Garo event ends (and Patch 5.1 arrives?)

So we know that Garo ends with Patch 5.1, but............. when is that??

This post warns us sternly to finish Garo before Patch 5.1, but omits the actual date that for Patch 5.1!!

What is the target DATE for Patch 5.1 so we know how much time we have left to finish Garo?

The rumor I have heard is "mid-October" but do we have any official confirmation on that?

I just don't want to be surprised next Monday when they say "guess what? maintenance tonight for patch 5.1!"

I would expect around 3 months after 5.0 release, so probably early October, late September if we're really lucky. (Or unlucky if you're still desperately trying to finish Garo stuff at that point.)

We're definitely not getting 5.1 in August, so you can relax there.

They haven't said yet, but if we look at 4.0 and 4.1 then we can expect 5.1 to drop on 22 October 2019. So it'll likely be at most a week or two off from that. Basically you've got time

I don't think the exact date for 5.1 has been decided yet, but rest assured we will know the exact date at least a week or two in advance of the actual release, and a rough date long before that - like others said, probably sometime in October.

But either way - I recommend you do not wait until the last day to finish things if you can avoid it. One never knows what may happen to prevent you from playing that particular day, if you are unlucky.

No insult taken. PvErs don't want to PvP as much as you don't want them yo PvP. Reminds me of Children's Week and the MoP legendary cloak chain in WoW. Both involved PvP, for cosmetic rewards for Children's Week, and the best cloak for everyone in MoP, and no one liked it. PvPers had to deal with inexperienced PvErs bumbling around in their matches, and PvErs had to do content they didn't like while they were demolished by the other team and PvPers on their own team badmouthed them.

5.1 means new fl map ,new mount and new gears set, the overflood of wolf mark farmers its not going to end anytime soon, sadly.

Funny thing is, this event has been in the game for several years and right now people are freaking out about it ending. (I'm not talking about newer players for this).

If this event wouldn't end how many of you people would still be without the items later this year, next year or the year after?

The live letter previewing 5.1 will be at the tokyo games show which is in the middle of September. So you can be sure that the patch definitely won't be before that.

I actually obtained pretty much all the gear within weeks after the event had started myself. As well as the 3 mounts which their will to get all that probably maybe within a month or 2 from the then start or less.

Would I have eventually gotten the last bit of gear I probably would have and I probably would have avenged live gone for the achievements and stuff. Seeing the notice that it was in ending in 5.1 realized I did need to get on the ball and get the stuff because I did want to get the achievements in the titles.

It also allows you to repurchase the gear from the calamity salvager at any time. So I went out there with all the jobs that I need to got the stuff and I'm good. To anyone that is trying for the gear and/or mounts good luck to you. Hopefully you'll be able to get what you want before the end of the event.
