FFXIV limited localization for Portuguese/Spanish players

Hello!, I'm from the portuguese speaking community and i'd like to suggest a limited localization of the game to Portuguese(BR and PT for EU) and Spanish where only the texts within the game would be translated while the VOs would still remain in english.

I'm seeing people even risking their account to use 3rd party programs to translate the game, so they can appreciate the great story this game have and a i understand that a full localization is not viable since it would probably delay patch and expansion releases, so a limited localization would be a perfect option to expand this great game to the south america region where many have problems understanding english fully (especially Urianger's archaic english or the pirates from limsa and such).

Edit: i'd also ask for a russian limited localization for our Russian friends that also play!

I think would be nice to have subtitles in portuguese (PT and PT-BR), spanish and russian. We don't really need voices in our languages, but language barrier is a thing, specially in Russia and Latin America.

I think SE must have at least subtitles in portuguese or brazilian portuguese(because there is a giant brazilian community on Primal and as one of them, not that I need it but I DO SEE a lot of brazilians that don't understand a lot of the game but still love to play it). If you guys could add the voices it would be awesome because there are incredible brazilian voice actors that would love to voice characters of a Final Fantasy game but I know it puts a lot of work on your shoulders, so if possible just the portuguese subs would be awesome for the brazilians.

As LeoRocha said, spanish and russian would be as nice as portuguese because those communities in the game could have the same language difficulties as most brazilians and both are kind of vital languages in this world we live because there are really a LOT of people who speak them.

I think it's already time you do something about it even if it's a lot more of work for you, and I guess you guys already work your souls into the game, but think of it as recognition that people all over the world play and love the game.

For the translation to portuguese and spanish I give a lot of support, should be nice to see and helpfull!
For the located server I don't have an opinion about, should be nice ofc, but I think it is still to far from the reality for sure.

Dear SE,
We are some many ppl playing for Brazil and Latin America. We ALL love this game and FF séries, but onde thing always block more growing: English Language. We fonte ask for Dub or Voices, We only ask If possible gives subititles in PT-BR. We haver a comunnity in Facebook. 1.5 players and growing, If u need Any Help for Translator, ALL of us can give our better. No one want payment, we Will Help from bottom of our heart, because se love this game.

there just isn't the support for this for spanish/other languages. if the game was a one-off standalone then multiple languages is possible, but it's because this is an MMO these kinds of translation/localization resources need to be on hand constantly working on all the text updates this game gets. there just simply isn't a studio or even 3rd party solution that can keep up with acceptable quality on an ongoing game for the languages that aren't in the game.
