The point of the MSQ currently is to help players get through it, not for you to get EXP or rush through the roulette.

It use to be skippable, and it gave less rewards. However, the skipping caused any new players wanting to watch the scenes lose out on the context and adventure because:

a. Everyone would just plow through all mobs and bosses and the player wouldn't get to see or experience it themselves.

and

b. A massive influx of cutscenes actually force skips any that aren't the most recent after you complete the current one you are watching, meaning they lost context and scenes.

SE made the change to address these issues and buffed the rewards. Players harassing new players for it, or not willing to slow down for them just made the decision easier.

Adding something to make it so you don't do the roulette for the reason is there, currently, makes no sense from their point of view.

However, they are working on reducing the size/possibly making them a four-man trust dungeon, or something. So we'll see.
