Upon initial close-encounters with children, Cenric would essentially be "Stay calm. They can smell fear. Avoid groups, they're pack hunters. Smile with your teeth--they might remember you're an adult and have more authority than them. Don't run. They are faster than you and they will give chase. Stop panicking. Don't stop breathing."

He chills a little when the kids like him anyway and just want adventurer stories but initially it's full deer-in-headlights mode.

Also just constantly being aware he's lying to everyone around him by omission 24/7, not as good a person as people assume, and overall hardcore imposter syndrome. Plus believing to varying degrees that he is death incarnate and anyone who talks to him is doomed.

My avi... I have a massivly convoluded headcannon about my avi: basicly she's "me" but in a "I gave my soul to her to revive her when she was still-born child" & then my "Shade", (memories, physical body & fragment of soul-stuff) raised her as a step-daughter only to give her all that was left within some years later (so memories & small fragment of soul remaining) to save her from some sorta Void energy based corruption later... I mean I doubt I can say with any certency WHAT she thinks IF that version of reality & her are REAL... its like trying to ask a version of the Doctor, from Doctor Who, what a future version of them is thinking when in the timeline of that Doctor's lifespan (IE: hasn't ever meet the future one & the future one isn't there or anyway able to talk to them)

From a non headcannon RP view... eather nothing or exsistencial terror cause their being controlled like a puppet from an outside sorce, my quess is the 1st one: nothing

"Asahi, I'm a 7'3 femroe with a big ass axe of the Titan variety on my back, clad in golden spiky hellfire armor and you have been left here alone. with. me. In this big, spaced out area where no one would hear or see anything that happened here. Do you really, REALLY, want to test me?"

Instead, my chr does the /aback emote and I'm just staring at the screen going "wot" -_-

My wife was thinking similar thoughts as you. She plays femroe also and was pissed when her character did that step back.
