What Your Character Is Really Thinking

Whenever WoL and Crystal Exarch are having some 1 on 1 talk time, I wish my char could say 'Come here buddy.' and take him into a bro-hug for all the things he's been through and how much he looks up to the WoL.

This topic is really good, because I was also pondering a lot about it.
Right now I am stuck at the very first Stormblood quests because I wait for someone to catch up.
My latest answer to Alphinaud was actually selectable and it was something "I have enough of it, and it's time to say goodbye" and Alphinaud goes: "Aww, that's not quite the answer I expected". Then he stood there and you can talk to him again: "We are going to [story spoiler]. It would be good if you have you with me nonetheless" and he walks off with the others.

I haven't even spent a single thought about them since 4 days and they still probably wait for their Warrior of Light in some dusty corner in the desert x)

Apart from that, I would've demanded the people (Kan-E-Senna, Merlwyb etc.) come to me. The amount of "Let's go to Gridania for advice from Kan-E-Senna" is ridiculous as she does not even do a single fight. They should admire us WoL and beg for our audience instead. I am the one that is going to sweat and bleed, so move your politician butts over to me place.

Also, I will hate Alphinaud and his Crew (TM) until they do a memorial for Papalymo like they did for Mo..Moen..bryda or whatever that tall lass was called. Until then, they can see my tiny Lalafell middle finger every so often...

As you can see, I absoutely dislike most of the cast and their way of ping-pong me back and forth Eorzea for their errand tasks. That's not what I studied all the magic and combat for! (GW2 is much much better, YOU were the core of the group as commander, and you did not waste time by bringing food for "refugees" who have time the whole day anyways themselves)

EDIT: At the Scholar quests with this Tonberry sailor guy, he wants to say and then yell something about "Seesoldaten" (sailors) so the quest moves forward. I yelled "Who cares about SEESOLDATEN" and he was "I can't hear you" or something, so I yelled: "I don't give a damn about Seesoldaten as I am a Red Mage!" and then he was happy. That's probably the first time my true thoughts advanced the story..

Sony would ask ALOT of questions to a few people. " You actually want to work together? Alright. Lets chat. " She would def give them their word and full trust the FIRST time. Anything she wouldn't like tho the name - God-slayer- would come into full effect.

She'd killed -you know who- asap tho. Walking into that city the first time, seeing how people are killing themselves to get in.. only to find some lard lame excuse for a ruler sitting there making stupid demands. Nothing on that planet would've stopped her from punching his head in.

In the starting quest of GNB, when some folks attack Radovan and Sophie a outlaw actually manages to talk yo you and... threaten you? In that moment that i thought was on the lines of:

"Dude, but, do you know who i am? are you aware who are you pointing your bow at? You are new at Eorzea, right?"

I think that was what my character was thinking.

I think that was what my character was thinking.

"Oh? You're approaching me? Instead of running away, you're coming right to me?"

Honestly, with all the fighting and Wars our characters have been in, it would not surprise me if this left some mental scarrs xD .

Seriously, you cannot tell me that nobody would haven been traumatised by quite alot of events that happened in the past.

(The rescent one in the main story as example would leave me traumatised i mean it went from "yeah i can do this i can bring back the dark" to "Shoot i messed up and now everybody and everything is in danger because of me". Yeah i know happy end but so not cool beeing a ticking time bomb!)

Funny, my wife and I had a similar conversation while working through ShB. There was a point where we were asked if we thought somebody would do a painting of us. And my wife piped up "Hell no, I want a goddamn statue!"

I chuckled and answered "Will it being doing the /pose animation?" (She's a cat-girl)

Wife in complete seriousness said "Damn straight, and my tail had better be fluffy. If it's not fluffy enough, I will CUT A BITCH!"
