    As SMN - yes - the gremlins are a special problem . Don't fight them unless in a group - find a different fate.
    I've had very few problems with SMN and mob fates -- except for the gremlins!

    Those gremlins are evil. I soloed a bunch of FATES on my WHM and then tried those gremlins and got my butt handed to me.

    SMN used to have a tank egi with titan and I was wondering how things would be since they removed it. Guess it isn't going that well.

    I was using Ifrit.. I tried Scholar and the difference was night and day! No problems with fates at all.

    I also have found a special love for MCH

    This is the key. Some people have certain classes that just click better for them for whatever reason. It sounds like youve found your solution.
