Maybe this belongs in the ‘things that annoy me’ thread but I still find it weird that Seraph has unique versions of Whispering Dawn and Fey Illumination but with the exact same effect and potencies. I know it’s too late for them to change the effects without breaking balance but I hope at some point in the future they can look at doing something to differentiate the Seraph versions from Eos/Selene versions.
I also kinda wish Art of War wasn’t melee range too just for convenience lol. We were used to standing in melee range for Miasma II anyway, but I was thinking it’d be kinda cool if it was a targeted AoE like Shadowflare. It’d mean interaction with Sacred Soil and could maybe get a slow effect or something like that to compensate for being less spammable as a targeted aoe compared to being around the caster. Though, it would be kinda weird to spam a targeted AoE a filler AoE spell. That said, I get that the melee range requirement is to differentiate it from Holy and Gravity, and maybe changing it like that would make it feel too similar.
Lastly, sometimes I wish Biolysis has some sort of debuff effect, maybe it’s just from the way it looks lol. Not as much of an ‘issue’ as much something I’d like developers to consider. I’d take a Miasma style debuff that doesn’t actually do much, it’d just be cool to use it thinking ‘I want to weaken this enemy’ than just ‘I want to slowly decompose your internal aether’ lol. I don’t think it would need too much of a damage reduction(if at all) if it was something nice to use, but not so much that you had to have a Scholar for Biolysis debuff.
Also getting a double ranged/melee (it’s always double ranged lol) can be quite a pain. I always end up in a situation where I Draw melee cars, Shuffle, melee card again, and then I don’t know what to do with it lol. Throw it on the tank? One of the ranged? Maybe I’ll just Undraw it and cry somewhere lol. I usually just give up fighting and throw it on the ranged. Maybe they could give like a Card Transpose that turns the card into one of the opposite role lol.
Additionally: more of a general healer issue but can we please replace Repose with something useful? Like, anything lol. Hell I’d take 4.0 Cleric Stance, and I could give [redacted] a run for their money when it comes to wanting ‘healers to heal’. It has some niche uses, like how you can use it in expert dungeons to Sleep enemies doing annoying AoEs or attacks (like those reptiles in Twinning that increase their attack or the Giant Armours in Akademia Anyder. Or you could just use one oGCD to heal from them and save yourself the trouble). I mean, we never had Repose in the role skills before now, so it’s not like healers can’t do solo things without it. I always wonder just what they wanted us to do with it
