Mount Music Off

Would like to have an option to turn off mount music and just having the zone music keep playing.

I love using the Cloud motorcycle but after awhile the 8bit music gets to me. Also I really liked some of the zone's music in HW and SB especially by the end of the MSQ in SB it was a shame 95% of the time you are mounted and miss out on a huge amount of excellent sound tracks.

/mountbgm will toggle the setting on and off.

You already can mute mount music, besides the text command the above poster mentioned, it can also be disabled via a setting in the Config menu, specifically, the 'System Configuration' menu, and then click 'Sound Settings', and make sure the button beside 'Play music when mounted' is unticked. Then click Apply and Close. It should now ignore the mount theme and just continue playing whatever BGM is for that zone.

Note that this is for the PC version so I have no idea if the PS4 version can mute mount music however.

Incidentally, the theme for the SDS Fenrir, Crazy Motorcycle, is from FFVII and that was a 32-bit game so that theme was composed for the PS1's sound processor, which I'm pretty sure was far more powerful than 8-bit (8-bit is NES). But I digress...

The PS4 version has all the same settings as PC. I think you can even go as far as use keyboard and mouse to play.

if BGM music is off it turns off ALL music when mounted though I want to keep zone music playing.

Hmm I gotta check the /mountbgm The option in sound menu for BGM muted everything for me before.

In the settings, theres an option for mount music off.
