Hey there! Emiin Vanih, tank theorycrafter and guidewriter for most of the classes within. I read through Paladin and just assumed that this was probably the worst troll post imaginable, but it case it isn't, I kept reading and decided to give some feedback on your complete misunderstanding of every tank class.

And, just for fun, I actually plugged in the first paladin opener into my calculator, along with the adjusted timings on raid buffs. For obvious reasons, I stopped there.

You have a gross misunderstanding of Paladin and the changes that have been made to it, which would be obvious as the first statement suggests that you haven't even leveled the classes. I'll address the points you've made in the post itself as to why you shouldn't theorycraft anymore.

-Has 7 casts of Holy Spirit, which is stronger than 4 casts under Requiescat.
Your first mistake is assuming that casting more Holy Spirits is a good idea. Your second is that casting Holy Spirit outside of Requiescat is a good idea. Not only do the spells receive potency buffs, but they also receive the incredibly important casting time reduction, which is important in keeping up DPS through autoattacks (which are essentially paused while casting). Casting 7 HSs outside of Req will essentially lose you 3-4 autoattacks, losing you 300 potency as it is, nullifying any gain you assume is there.

Third, you assume that Holy Spirit unbuffed is a stronger GCD than others. While it may be stronger than Fast or Riot Blade, it is not stronger than any of Paladin's 1-2-3s, or the inclusion of Atonement. 1-2-Goring is around 495 potency per GCD (PPGCD). 1-2-Royal is 350 PPGCD, and not hindered by losing Autoattacks. Coupled with the addition of Atonements (550 PPGCD), you're looking at Royal > atonement 6 GCD string at 450 PPGCD.

Your Fight or Flights in both openers are missing double Goring Blades, and you in fact break combo in the "King's Honor" opener, which is a massive DPS loss for your attempted gain in raid buffs. While raid buffs are important, your overall rotation actually progressing is much more important, as you have turned a 450-495 PPGCD combo into 250 PPGCD. Paladin's main strength in DPS is in maintaining the overall PPGCD, instead of aligning for raid buffs (while it can, it is not necessary). Both openers are swimming in wasted potential.

After looking through the Paladin openers I decided to stop looking any further. If you have this gross of a misunderstanding of a class which works off an extremely fixed basic rotation, then anything else would be beyond your understanding.
