If you think that this is hard, how in the fudge did you beat Leap of Faith in the Gold Saucer!?

I mean seriously... The trick to beating it is:

1. Always take a step back before pushing forward then jumping to build momentum.

2. Aim yourself by right click facing/turning.

3. Whenever a ledge is against a wall (all parts of the final stretch) angle toward the wall. This stops you from over shooting.

4. When walking on narrow beams (you actually have a lot more space than it seems) simply aim your camera to be top down, tap forward and readjust with the right click turn.

Easy. Really easy. It takes maybe 6 minutes to clear.

Seeing as there's no actual reward for getting up there, I see no reason to take away people's ability to "cheat". It was a bit of a bummer to see them include that anti-mount debuff here (though seeing people using their whales and behemoths to visually grief people justifies it) since one could use the two-seaters to help friends who aren't as skilled with jump puzzles. With how obnoxious collision detection and invisible walls/platforms are with this puzzle being able to self-destruct/raise to get to place is a nice thing to have especially if all you want is to look at the view.

So I disagree with another debuff making things "more enjoyable". I'd rather let people play the way they want. If they have to add anything to the puzzle, it should be some decent lighting for when it's nighttime.

Woot! I failed the last jump last year, and it broke my spirit for the rest of the event. But I just got through the tiny pegs in one go!

You know we are talking about the part which you get to after the event NPC? You know when you jump down to the right of the NPC and start jumping your way up the whole skyscraping looking thing?
I mean, Leap of Faith is nothing in comparison the the top of the jump tower.

I think the tower is really fun! I got really close to the top last year, a few more close jumps and I would've made it, but I fell and then the whole tower disappeared out from under me. I'm glad they brought the tower back this year. I would've been sad if they didn't bring back the Eorzean Nimble Warrior challenge so I could take it on once more! There's glory to be had at the top of that tower! I don't need some item as bait for me to go up there.

gave it a few tries, but abandoned it cause of the quirks with jumping.
Can't get my character to jump how I want.


First jump succeeds, second jump basically drops me in little Alamihgo.
There's no rhyme and reason to how far your character jumps with the same pattern.

You could also marry someone that is able to climb the tower and use the wedding ring to port to them.

Climbing Kugane tower and doing the light jump at the end was the reception at my EB ceremony.

We both made it to the top without needing it and only needed 3 combined uses for the jump off. Was enjoyable.

got all the event items after a few minutes of comfy gathering & crafting instead. In my opinion they should just delete the jump tower all together instead of wasting dev time by adding that no mounts zone.

btw, I did get both the Kugane tower and lamp post vistas pre BLU, and it gave me absolutely no sense of accomplishment other than "thanks god this dark chapter in my XIV gaming experience is finally over"
