    While that is an assumption I also made, Varis was the High Legatus before becoming emperor, which IIRC basically made him in charge of the enitrety of the imperial army under Solus. Whether or not he STILL commanded his own legion while holding that title is up for debate, though my bet is on 'no'.

    As a side note, as a result of Varis becoming emperor, a new High Legatus was appointed (heavens forbid I remember their name of the top of my head, it's in the forat lore book in the garlean hierarchy section IIRC).

    I think I remember reading that Zenos was also a High Legatus?
