    Ceremony of Eternal Bonding questions

Sorry if these things have been answered before. I'm new so I'm curious about this whole ceremony thing the game has to offer.
    1. What are the perks of getting married in this game?
    2. Do surnames change after getting married?
    3. Are same sex characters able to get married or just opposite sex ones?
    4. Can 1 person pay the fee for both parties or do both parties have to pay 1/2 of it individually?
    5. Do the married couple also receive the Demon Box and Bridesmoogle minions that their partygoers get or are they just out of luck on that?
    6. Does both people married get the Ceremony Chocobo or just one of them?

    1) Glamour, a 2-seater mount, and the ability to warp to your partner when they're online once every 30minutes using the ring. (Perks vary based on what level of ceremony you got.)
    2) No
    3) Any two characters can be bonded together, regardless of gender or race.
    4) As far as I know, you can 'gift' your partner the platinum/gold band from mogstation, effectively making you pay for both if you want, so long as the bands of both of you match. (So if one of you uses the free band, you can both only use free. If one uses gold, the other can't use platinum, etc. Both you & partner must have Free/Free, Gold/Gold, or Platinum/Platinum.)
    5) I think they're out of luck on that, but I attended a bond ceremony before I got bonded so I'm not 100% confident on that answer.
    6) Both.

Just a bit of additional information since everything Maria has said is so far correct!

You can use different bands but the "cheaper" one will then be applied to both - so if one of you uses a free band and the other one has paid for a gold plan you can still get married but will both be treated as if you're using a free one. To get all perks you both need to use the same plan.

Just wanted to confirm that this is correct: The happy couple does not get those items from attending their own wedding.

Follow up question, do you have to invite all the guests once you register or can you throw out invites up until a certain time (possibly right as the ceremony starts)? I know the website & wiki said you can invite up to 40 people but is that per person or per couple 40 people invited? Lastly can the glamour outfits be dyed or are they fixed one color?

You can throw them out up until the date I believe. I think it's 40 in total? I'm sorry, someone else will have to confirm on this. As for the outfits, yes they can be dyed - but I think it's only the platinum version that's dyable? Again, can someone confirm! I hope you have an amazing wedding though!

Gold version is dyable but it has a different dye channel compared to the platinum version. Platinum version also nets you both versions of the outfit

Both of you will get an item that can generate up to 40 invites that you can sent out any time before the wedding - each of you will be able to generate 40 invites, so up to 80 guests are possible.

The items you get from choosing the gold or the platinum plan can be dyed, the free ones cant be. Should you ever change the gender of your character you can exchange the male version for the female and vise verca.

Little sidenote since you're asking all those wedding questions: During the ceremony you'll exchange your rings, obviously. If you want to see them displayed make sure not to wear any gloves - I'm just mentioning that because the suit for guys comes with gloves and thats a bit silly...
