Do you shame people for their choice of materia melds?

Unless it's something like a Meele class melding Spell speed or Piety, or a Healer/DPS melding Tenacity, there's no reason to shame someone

Unless the person is trying out for Savage content I don't see the issue. Even then if they're pulling their own weight I don't really care if their melds are slightly off. I'll side eye them if they, say, meld spellspeed as a RDM because /WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF/ but otherwise eh.

Edit: Also full Tenacity melds is, like, 5% damage reduction and 5% reduction doesn't really... work the way you've described.

They know. Theyve been walked through the math by 4 or 5 different people in 2 or 3 threads now.
