I mean have your truly played ffxiv if you don't have at least one husbando/waifu npc?

I know a couple of people who don't have a single husbando/ waifu despite being really into the story and everything.
I don't know what kind of sorcery this is... I, for one, have a ton of waifus and husband's and that has nothing to do with my sexuality or not spending enough time outside.
Nothing wrong with fictional character crushes. Enjoy them!
SE drops hints left and right with various npcs, so I'm inclined to believe they want us to have waifus and husbandos.
