Could definitely do with an update to include Crystal Exarch, Aymeric, Hilda, and the many other prime slices of Husbando/Waifu-bait from the expansions!
The best idea SE ever taunted us with. :3
That's alright, i know quite a few women who are head-over-heels with this fella'

Honestly? Lyna stole my heart nearly instantly. I thought Y'shtola would be my forver number 1 wifu. Who ever the voice actor was just captivated me with this character. She doesn't do a whole lot within the story but bloody hell I had no idea I would this legit 35 year old want to write Fan fiction between my character who is basically me and Lyna.
So OP I feel you 100% I am married my self but even I have had wifu's over the course of time. But props to the dev team for the Vera model looking so gorgeous and choosing the appropriate voice actor for her..For whatever reason Lyna when you are just starting to explore the first shared created a love at first sight scenario.
Probably helps she has similar looks like my RL wife just without the long hair and bunny ears..... and not as tall.
Nothing wrong with 2D love.

The Star Wars MMO did it well. I just don't see it happening here.
And while I love a lot of the characters in the game and my WoL would spark up a romance with a few, I don't feel real romantic attraction towards fictional characters. It's fine to feel attraction and emotion towards a well-written character, but taking it seriously like those guys who marry 2D girls? There's some emotional disorder going on there.

Yeah, SWTOR did it well for the most part. Though there was one issue where you got 'locked' into a romance for just being nice. Anyone who played male consular probably knows what I'm on about. But SWTOR was a lot more story-driven, basically being an MMO version of KOTOR - and the character had a lot more depth to them, but you were limited to dialogue options. That being said, I loved Lana as a character in SWTOR - I can't help but romance her in SWTOR. In regards to this game, I do also really approve of Lyna - that emotional outburst she had was very well done and had you resonate with her character a little. A well-written character is always going to have the reader/player to show some emotion and connect with them. But yeah, your last point regarding the 2D girls - that there is where I cross the line in regards to that fantasy type stuff. The Star Wars MMO did it well. I just don't see it happening here.
