Have you had the 1 mil gil once or more than once?
It only takes a day for a gil farming bot to hit max level and start farming away in Amdapor, so the weekly ban waves really do accomplish nothing in the long run.
They need to target their methods, not the bots themselves.
Seems they have taken some action on this thread.. or is this US only?

The gil farming bots are lumped into the RMT/prohibited activites category, which is why the number is so bloated.
The number of "normal" bots getting banned is a laughably small figure when it's on average less then one bot banned per server in the game, plus there's no guarantees that none of the expendable gil farmers aren't getting lumped into that category by accident either.
