I'm happy about a lot of things he said, like that we will see more connected points between the source and the first.
About more story related to the complete world and the explaining of the savage loot.
Eureka will be adjusted and we can look forward for PvP changes.

Today I know more about future updates then yesterday and that's all I wanted.

That's all fun and good, but on the flipside as a healer today I know absolutely nothing on what will be addressed in future updates, and that's not what I wanted.

When sandwich questions have more priority than healer questions you know something isn't right. Yes the context of the question is "funny" but your main role being basically ignored is not.

I support the addition of male Viera as a matter of principle, but the overzealousness from some diehard supporters is starting to get tiresome. I feel like the bunny suit folks from back then were a lot more amicable and respectful in the attempt to promote their cause. I wonder if that elezen dude is still around to enjoy the fruit of his labour. The point is; this "male Viera or we riot until we get it" attitude will have the opposite effect. The devs have stated their stance on this; give it time, be patient, and keep promoting the cause the right way. This "are we there yet? are we there yet?" won't help achieve your goal.

Starting? O_o it got tiresome ages ago and this is from someone who wants both male Viera and female Hrothgar.

The current issues surrounding male Hrothgar and female Viera should be taking priority and i'm more bothered by them saying they are adding new hairstyles to Hrothgar but because they are tied to face and we have to use a fantasia to change it, meaning new hairstyles cost money for any current Hrothgar player which is discouraging :/

Also, I need to address this. What sort of logic are they following..adding Yshtola’s new outfit (5.0, mind you) and not adding Lyse’s 4.0 Stormblood red outfit? No hair of her’s either. So this basically confirms they are done with 4.0 Mogstation NPC outfits, and we shouldn’t expect Lyse’s red attire/Hair for another 2-3 years, if ever.

I love Yshtola, but come on, no love for Lyse and her hair? And I love Square Enix’s FFXIV team, but...guys, if you’re having trouble pushing out content that’s highly requested, maybe add more employees? Just a thought..

Why focus on XIV when they can milk people with yet another XV mobile game? While I personally prefer the new Y'shtola outfit over Lyse's, I don't see why they couldn't have added hers as well.

I mean how many times does a many have to answer the same questions over and over, the player base is very selfish and childish and I give him props for not telling people if they dont like it move on or wait till they can get to it or have no plans for it.

Its his job. Simple as that. And the people put the questions there are their customers. Also its not like the question is done by the same person every time. Maybe someone new made it and did not know that it was asked all the time? What would you think if you called the customer service for a certain problem and because the person got the question already more than once he is rude towards you?

In the end they still chose the questions and have no problems with sorting out even those that have huge amount of likes. If you dont want to hear anything about it then dont let them be put in it..and if you do then be professional enough with that.

Sorry. Quick question, but is the future still not, like, still there in the future? Like, who chose that the deadline was this live letter? They said be patient. Its been a few months are you are all like "no ANSWERS?! You said you would give us ANSWERS in the FUTURE! This is the FUTURE!" Just stop. The Expansion just came out and, honestly, "missing genders" is low on the list of important things needing to be "addressed" right now.

Anyway, I am happy with the live letter. Looking forward to SAM buffs and changes, MSQ update and other changes and systems like New Game+.

My only issue with the live letter is they touched only one healing question, about just one job, and that was it.

I noticed that they chose one of the ones who agreed with half the changes to astro to answer to boot.

I mean all this did for me was make me put up my healing things for good.. it's a bit sad that I have some sweet glams for healers that can't be worn by other jobs.

Sadly this isn't a new thing. They ALWAYS avoid most Healer questions or concerns.

Again, it was to be expected from them not to awnser that, but it was kinda dissapointing nontheless. I dont expect to hear from that until FanFest of 6.0 when I think they will likely be released, but lets not go too into this topic. I simply sugest ppl not to expect anythign on this until 6.0

They said they have no current plans to add the gender what more do you what. Do they have to say in every live letter that they are still not working on them?
