A solid yes or no would be kinder to those who want these things. At least they did that for the hairstyles my Viera character will probably never be able to use again unless they change their minds.

They're not going to give a solid yes or no on something that they aren't even sure of. Yoshi has stated that IF the resources become available, they'll consider it. That's all there is to it. I highly doubt there's even been internal discussion about it further, as of yet.

I was a little disappointed to see my question (the one about DNC/GNB primal weapons) being answered with a “not really a ‘no’, but not really a ‘yes’ either” kind of answer, but I suppose it can’t be helped. Some of the questions they chose were definite peaches questions (I guess they chose them because they were “safe”), and I am disappointed that more wasn’t said about the healers. I am extremely disappointed with the one healer question they asked, as it only served to solidify my resolve to hang up my AST globe for now—however, at least with the concern of BRD and its loss of utility, they said that they would continue to listen to player opinions. I just hope they listen to the more reasonable ones.

Some of the questions were thought-provoking—like the one about desynth—but, other than that, I didn’t really expect anything more than what we got (so I honestly shouldn’t be as disappointed as I am but hey).

I do agree with the statement of being more polite about feedback. Or even just reading the Q&A threads. This one was more open-ended so this concern doesn’t necessarily apply, but I have noticed several past Q&As where people ask questions directly unrelated to the topic of the Q&A (like when they ask the Lore guys or the MSQ writers questions about job balancing—they can’t answer stuff like that). So I can understand the frustration when people don’t seem to actually read. This was particularly egregious when a community manager posted to hold off on job balancing questions until after 5.05, but people continued to ask them anyways before the patch dropped.

Lots of duplicate questions in there, too; but I guess it is understandable that most won’t read through 700+ other questions to see if theirs was already asked.

I was glad to see that fixes are coming for the jobs that need it more but was disappointed to not hear anything about story replay/New game+. I was wanting to level some jobs by replaying the story...

There were a lot of questions wich really were more like interview questions, like what drew inspiration for this, what is your favorite that. I mean, we can save that for interviews, not Q&A's. I would expect Q&A's to adress in game situations that concern the players, and there were a lot of good questions that went unanswered. So, yeah... that was disappointing.

They've already explained about missing genders in the past. It was either give one race with two genders, or two races with one gender each. They couldn't do both. They probably expected male viera wouldn't be popular enough (although I'm sure many would love them).

They're not going to just create two new genders all of a sudden because people complain. Maybe in two expansions time but now not.

It did also read like they planned to address more things at other times like PAX, so they could be waiting until they have something definitive to share before answering certain questions.

Disappointing that it seems like future implemented hairstyles for Viera will be unique and race restricted. Would have liked to have gotten a confirmation on Modern Aesthetic hairstyles....... until then, I'm staying a potato.

They did not adress the Hrothgar issue regarding needing to use a fantasia to change hairstyles. Knowing they're going to implement more Hrothgar hairstyle, have they deliberately ignored that question?

Seems to me like this is something they should address on the double (and by address, I mean in the context of responding to this inquiry).

Yeah, they honestly should have answered this question. I saw it many times as a duplicate, so it’s kind of like... people want an answer to it. I think it’s stupid as heck that Hrothgar have to buy a Fantasia to change their hair style. I don’t understand why they locked them to faces, but I also don’t know if this was a character customization limitation or what. I honestly can’t come up with a decent answer in my head to it without sounding dumb.

What really bugs me is this:
The thing we can customize, the markings, are completely hidden by most of the gear that is not a swimsuit. And the thing that will almost never be hidden because most of the headwears don't show, the hairs, have very very few variations, are tied to the faces and locked behind fantasia usage..
