What I want:
1. More diversity in dungeon mechanics.
I want to see dungeon mechanics that go beyond: pull group, kill group, once in a while grab a thing. Give me some (non-static) puzzles.
Make me explore the dungeon a bit. Give me s boss room with three entrances, but only one of them is open, let me not know which path to take.
One of my favorite dungeons has a mechanic where you have to lure a giant head onto a platform to kill it. Why does nothing like that show up again?
Give me some different boss mechanics. Give me a boss that explodes into a dozen snakes that have to be lured together onto a plate so they turn back into a whole monster. Or a monster that splits into two each time it is killed.
Don't just make me tank and spank.
2. Give me more roles to play.
I'm tired of just Tank/Healer/DPS give me some new roles.
3. Give me more customization options.
Not every level 73 Paladin should have the *exact* same abilities. Some should be better at tanking, some should do more DPS, I should be able to customize myself more.
I would love a True Support Role but FFXIV is stuck in the holy Trinity system, I can't see them ever changing anytime soon. They did talk about adding a support role a long time ago but it's been dropped it seems.

also "puzzle solving" would give people the need to want to solve it themselves
While in a roulette people are just gonna want to get it done asap and just mess up the purpose of it
i would not mind if 50/60/70/80 to be different from leveling dungeon in some way instead of just "we are the same type of dungeon just with terrible exp"
as a alternative to deep dungeons it would be cool

Yes, this is my thinking. As a regular dungeon people wouldn't even bother to actually solve the puzzle, probably just look up a YouTube guide or something, memorize it, and not actually do it themselves (this would happen either way). They brought up Qarn as an example, and I'll use that as well, people purposefully fail that puzzle even now and just kill the extra adds to progress. Nobody cares and they just want to get done with the dungeon.also "puzzle solving" would give people the need to want to solve it themselves

I think a deep dungeon would be the most logical place to put this. Lower levels with more simple puzzles or variation, higher levels progressively get harder and more in depth. Side content, but people would use it for exp, so the content would actually get played. They cannot be too difficult or most people will just avoid it altogether. I think deep dungeons need more variation anyway, they are extremely boring and samey, in my opinion.
I will add, if they decided to do an entire new type of dungeon - harder variants of what we have - I think that could also be a good place to put it. The reward structure would have to be good enough for people to do it however.

"Adjusting display priority is impossible"
That's possibly one of the most disappointing things I learned from all the questions they answerered.
Jp people didnt use the forum as much as en, they are lous in 5ch and twitter

I wouldn't bother quoting MrKusakabe because chances of a reply are near zero.
Not naming and shaming, but in another thread he stated:
Usually, I never come back into a thread because my statements are solid when I hit "Submit reply"(...)
Just a proud bad-skilked player

They're probably still reading. What would be the point in making a statement and not sticking around to see reactions to it? Their word isn't law neither are they some high level celebrity or VIP for them to assume their posts are gospel.
