Get into real estate.
It is vastly different these days. You could lvl to 99 in a day. Abyssea ruined FFXI, imo.
Anyway, there is so much to do on FFXIV it's hard to get bored. lvl up your gathering and crafting, do hunts, get your ponies, birds, dogs and other mounts. Level up your squadron and your trust npcs. Level up your chocobo. Tons to do!

Yeah can always play other games. FFXIV isn't going anywhere fast.
Here's a little list.
- Achievement hunting.
- Solo deep dungeons or even duo.
- Complete the Bozjan logs
- Collect all triple triad cards
- Raid on BLU
- Minion/Mount hunting
- PvP
- Delubrum savage
- Ishgard Restoration / Diadem
- Raiding in general
Wait I already have the perfect answer based on some people in these forums in denial. "Congratulations, you are now truly finished with everything relevant and will now be experiencing severe content drought for the next 4 months because this patch cycle apparently is too long despite other MMOs having it way worse".
On a serious note, everyone else already outlined the stuff you could busy yourself with if you want to play more game c:

If you don't like doing endgame raids then there really isn't anything to do after MSQ unless you like leveling. If you like leveling, just do that.
I'm always busy never enough time for me. I play this game way too much.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

There isn't much to do, game's actually barren and our playerbase is in denial about it.
