What to meld for DRK?

Hi everyone, new player here, just reached 80drk recently and wondering what gear to use and what materia to meld, any suggestions? thanks in advance!

Current meld priorities

Comfy SkS > Crit > DH > Det

Because of the extreme abundance of crit on current BiS savage/tome gear, crit now beats DH by a very tiny margin in BiS gear. Until you have close to BiS gear, DH is likely still going to be the best and would take priority over crit.

What is Comfy SkS?

Anything that lets you hit 5 GCDs in Blood Weapon and 5 GCDs in Delirium. Fights' downtime/mechanics and player preference also dictate what is comfy for them.

-1015 for 2.43 GCD
-1117 for 2.42 GCD
-1218 for 2.41 GCD
-1320 for 2.40 GCD
-1421 for 2.39 GCD
-1523 for 2.38 GCD - Baseline for Comfy
-1624 for 2.37 GCD
-1726 for 2.36 GCD
-1827 for 2.35 GCD - Pepega fast

Once you hit your comfortable SkS prioritize melding DH. Scaling for crit on tanks isn't good until you get your BiS and likley higher stats in the expansion. The only tank that always melds Crit will be WARs. All other tanks meld DH until you hit BiS then its up to you if you want to rely on chance or not.
