How to get a Legacy Status?

If you had a character created in 1.0 you got the Legacy Tattoo on your neck when ARR went live. Legacy Status was for people who had paid for 60 days of subscription in 1.0 before ARR iirc. I might have the sub days wrong (60-90 something along those lines) though but that was the requirements for it.

Also, You need to have a 1.x version char with lv50 (if I remember right) and concluded the msq in order to get legacy status. His/her name will go for the credits (all those names are legacy chars - the true Warriors of Light forgotten by the people of Eorzea in the beggining of ARR).

I don't believe this part was needed. I have a legacy account, but that's only because I took a gamble on ARR and purchased the required sub-time (I believe this was 90 days). I had quit the game far before the campaign came around - I never hit max level and didn't complete the MSQ.

As mentioned up above, any existing 1.0 character brought over into ARR carried received the tattoo, but the legacy pricing was a special campaign.
