How to get a Legacy Status?

Hey Folks,

I have 2 Accounts in my Name - this one and another one - The first one was registered in November 2010, the second one in May 2011.

With one of them I most definitely played 1.0 - And both Accounts have ARR registered.

One of the Accounts, the older one, has not even a ARR Char - So I assume the Character was NOT transferred from 1.0 ?

However, my question is now: Is there a way to get the deserved legacy status - Since both Accounts definitely existed BEFORE ARR was released and at least one of them had an active Char in 1.0?

Please let me know, since I find it quite unfair that people who played the 1.0 Version suddenly aren't "legacy enough".

Far as I know, not a legacy player, might be wrong, but pretty sure just having a character in 1.0 isn't enough, said character had to have progressed to a certain part in the story. What that point is, couldn't say. Google would probably be of some help.

If you had a character created in 1.0 you got the Legacy Tattoo on your neck when ARR went live. Legacy Status was for people who had paid for 60 days of subscription in 1.0 before ARR iirc. I might have the sub days wrong (60-90 something along those lines) though but that was the requirements for it.

Also, You need to have a 1.x version char with lv50 (if I remember right) and concluded the msq in order to get legacy status. His/her name will go for the credits (all those names are legacy chars - the true Warriors of Light forgotten by the people of Eorzea in the beggining of ARR).

But that there is no 1.0 Character at all is still odd. Were only lvl50 Accounts automatically transferred to 2.0?

Legacy Status is given to all players who subscribed to FFXIV 1.x for at least 90 days. To qualify for a legacy account you must have subscribed for at least 90 days before June 30th, 2012

--Any player who paid for any cumulative 90 days between the commencement of billing services on January 6th, 2012 and the suspension of billing services on September 29th, 2012 qualified for Legacy status, regardless of which 90 days were purchased or whether they were purchased as part of a larger plan.

All existing 1.0 characters should have been transferred - one of my lv10 alts was transferred and has a legacymark.

Specifically, you had to have been subbed for 3 months during the last calendar year that 1.x was running (prior to the final 'save date', after which we were able to keep playing, but nothing we did would be saved for the transfer to 2.0). This was announced in I believe February or March, but any days of that specific year you were subbed for prior to that were grandfathered into the campaign.

Any characters that qualified to be transferred, legacy status or no, would receive the tattoo.

My first acc suffered the transition process. But I don't remember exactly every step, because I never logged in after the transition to ARR. When I decided to play again was with another acc (the one I still using today). And the older acc. I canceled the service acc. All my chars there desappeared with it :P (I only had an elezen lv11 fisher and a miqote pugilist lv17 or so).

EDIT: all chars was automaticaly transfered to ARR. And they don't needed to be lv50 for the legacy status. All you had to do was subbed 2 months or more before august 2012.

If you had your service account canceled (like mine), then, you lost all your chars there (like happened to me).

I probably also cancelled my Service Account - But why did my Characters die with that? My FF XI Service Account was also disabled FOREVER and after Activation my lvl50 Samurai greeted me good morning.

It is super confusing ... I probably paid for 3 months in 1.0 . Is thre any possibility in the Mogry Kiosk to check any Transactions BEFORE ARR? So I can see WHEN I actually bought or paid subscriptions for ?

I bought 1.0 at release, created a character, played it for I'd say about 3 hours, and didn't log back in until 2.0 release. My character had the legacy mark.
