    I don't understand why it hides party member information from you if players are not close by.

    Because the client only fetches data that is close to you not what is far away.

    Btw this was NOT in the 2.0 Screenshot, instead they represent a "type" of class, Healer, Tank, Assault etc by a Letter. You can view it here:



    I would MUCH prefer the class being shown such as PLD50, CON45 etc Or show the Icons
