    Viion I get the feeling that is what you choose as your role when entering a party or content finder.

    It's basically so the content finder can match up classes to make a balanced party.

    2 = (T)anks, 1 = (H)ealer, 3 = (A)ttackers, 1 = (B)uffer, 1 = (C)aster (at least in that 2.0 pic)

    Are we talking about the tags next to the peoples name in the party list. A, B, T, H and C

    I know its not the content finder, it what it uses to match make though, same as it does in WoW, you select your role and it matches up players.

    I think the OP is talking about the "party details" in the Party menu.

    Oh I thought he was talking about the Party List that is always on screen, that shows Light/Full border, not the "Party Details". The party widget displays no such information regarding a job or class, or even level, so I thought he ment that when people were saying "this is coming with 2.0, im sure its shown on the UI", when it is not shown on the UI, all that is shown is a letter.

    Then I got confused with what you was talking about when you said the content finder uses it, I know you can select what role you wish to be, but I am not sure why that has to be displayed, I am not really concerned about "What it is" I am concerned of "Why is it there?", its not very helpful info.

    I could be a WHM and put down Assault saying I will nuke! Bit misguiding, a Bard could also put down Assault instead of being a Support type, again doesnt make sense and I think showing the Tag of the Class or Job such as WHM or BRD or GLA would be much better in the party widget.

    As for the Party Details, they've already said its a limitation of the servers and will likely be fixed in 2.0, but even saying that, it isnt uncommon, i think TERA also suffers from this, but I know SWTOR doesnt!
