Skills: Chameleon, Quelling Strike, Decoy, Keen Flurry, Invigorate, Blindside

Wait at back for the party's hate to build up for just a bit at the start. Pop Fists of Wind, Shoulder Tackle your way to iffy and then Spinning Heel til the timer runs out. Combo Pounce> Demolish> Keen Flurry/Blindside/Quelling Strike Howling Fist. Hit Invig right afterwards and combo Pounce> Sidestep for Suckerpunch> Dragonkick. Right afterwards your Howling Fist combo should be back up, unleash it again without keen flurry, and etc. Hit Chameleon every chance its up and always put Quelling strike on howling fist whenever you can. When iffy spawns nails, either attack the one closest to him or the one on the left side. If you do the left side, you wont get hit by seers so its a bit easier to recover for HF. Shoulder tackle to travel from nail to nail if needed. Once 2 nails are down, Run to the archer spot located on the left side a little further back from where the healer stands. There is a clear opening in case plumes come up, just like the mage spot in the back. Do not attack ifrit after nails are down, because you will eat a seers and might not survive HF. At this point, get as much hp up as you can, make sure you have + fire resist either from iffys claws or earring/necklace (Rubelite), and pop decoy before HF. You should have around 200hp afterwards, 2nd wind yourself to half health and hold back until you're rebuffed and regen'd for seers on iffy's last phase. Repeat DD steps and its dead.

Amazing thank you, i have yet to try Ifrit because i am so intimidated by players expecting me to know how to be good at this fight. This definitively helps.

Nothing? I think... You can try to time when to go in and out but will lead you to eat some cracks.

Regen+2nd wind basically cancels out sears. And yes, decoy works on HF. It doesn't negate it, it just helps a little bit. Decoy is for ranged/magic attacks. HF is a magic attack.

Got my blade doing it. its not that hard once you get the hang of it.

the fact that decoy helps at all is news to me, especially as a cross-class ability.

What do you do to avoid the sears?

As was stated, Regen completely negates Sear. No reason for your WHMs to not be tossing it out on you or any other melee if your hp starts to dip slightly, it casts really quick and the recast is low.
