Consider the change to Form Shift, which makes Anatman, 6SS, and TK seem less useful. Also consider that it is unlikely that Anatman is supposed to be part of the opener (as in, SE did not intend this).
Given those two considerations, what do you monk enthusiasts think about the following Anatman Idea:
Anatman is still an oGCD, but changes to a 2.5s cast time. The effect changes entirely to: gain a stack of GL for each stack of GL you've lost in the last X seconds (probably 5 seconds?).
This creates a combo whenever Anatman is off cd: 6SS + TK + Anatman -> continue normal rotation. Which is a potency gain over that time period, right? 6SS makes us "lose" a GCD, but it has 400 potency, and TK has 430 potency.
TK and 6SS still have their niche function, too. Even Anatman still kind of has its niche function, though it's changed to "oh shoot, I'm gonna drop GL and I can't save them. Welp, Anatman".
But Anatman is no longer part of the opener in the sense of "I gain a GL stack between GCDs thanks to timing server ticks correctly". Though that is a dps loss, the Anatman combo is a dps gain, right? I am not capable of telling whether it's a net loss, net gain, or evens out, though.
But is it a decent idea, or hot garbage?
