How do you change the music in your house/chambers/apartment?

I have a friend in my FC that was able to change the music from the default FC House theme to use one from Stormblood and I was wondering how I am able to do it.

I've noticed there's a housing item that looks like the item used to make in the GSM Stormblood Quests. The Chronometer. So I don't know if that can be used to change the music or whatnot or I'm missing something.
Though considering in the description it mentions TIME and not MUSIC I don't think that's the case which leaves me pondering what to do. I looked it up on a search engine and got no results on what I was looking for.

I like to change from the default music to something else. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to do this.

You need a special furnishing to be placed in the house or private room called an 'Orchestrion' which is what your friend has done (the orchestrion itself comes in two flavours: original version which looks rather like a tall old fashioned radio, and a much smaller 'table' version which can be placed on a shelf or tabletop). Having done that you then need to collect special Orchestrion Rolls for each music track to play, which are basically CDs and are a consumable item - using the item places that track in your Orchestrion Log which can be viewed under the 'Logs' menu.

Then simply click on the Orchestrion and select the track from the list of Orchestrion Rolls you've added to your Orchestrion Log (you can also create a playlist of up to seven tracks that you can shuffle around randomly, play in order repeatedly or just play one track repeatedly.).

Incidentally the Inns in Ul'dah, Gridania, Limsa Lominsa, Ishgard and Kugane also all have an Orchestrion in them so even if you don't have a house or room of your own you can still listen to music.

Hence hunting for Orchestrion Rolls has become content in and of itself as some are very, very hard to attain and are highly sought after (especially for those who love FF music like me).

I see. I found it and I went with the Table Orchestrion instead so I can put it anyway.

Though the reason why I couldn't find it is I tried to use the Search Engine in the Crafting Log and it didn't turn up. Which led to my confusion. Apparently it doesn't seem to show them even with the FULL CORRECT name, even when I copy and paste. I thought it might be due to the star rating, but those pop up. So maybe it doesn't show Master Book ones? Honestly I don't know why the game's Search Engine for Craft and Gathering is so limited.

The search in the crafting log has a display limit of 50 items. There are more than 50 items with "Orchestrion" in the name. For whatever reason, the Orchestrion itself doesn't end up displayed. The tabletop version can be easily found by search "table " (with the space at the end). The large version you'll have to know where it is found in the crafting log (CRP Master IV).
