They spent half of Stormblood doing backend tomfoolery. This is the upgrade.

When they discover the magical server fairy wand, I'm sure they'll implement it as soon as possible.

This will happen the day after legacy spaghetti is removetti.

This is the smoothest launch of any expansion by far. The queues are clearly part of whatever they did to fix it. I'll take a 30 second queue every time I log in over the usual 1000+ queues that I was expecting for the first couple of months any day.

There's input lag that ranges from minor to horrible in instances currently.

Somehow, it wouldn't surprise me if the RMT bots flooding Amdapor Keep are straining the servers overall, not just locking people out of that particular instance.
