    Home World transfer question

    I applied, paid for & completed a home world transfer from Balmung to Malboro to play with my friends. I see my character on the new world (Malboro) but when I try & login it puts in into a very long queue (started at 14,300 now I'm at 11,446 after about 2 hours).

    When my friends who are on the server attempt to login they are able to login without any issue (20-30 player queue). I then created a new character on Malboro & was able to login without a wait.

    My questions is: is this normal the 1st time you login to a character that completed a world transfer? Has anyone else experienced this?

    Did you get a notification email that the transfer is complete? They tell you not to, or that you cannot log in until you get that notification. So it may be that you are still in limbo

    Here is the email I received:

    "Thank you for using the FINAL FANTASY XIV Mog Station.
    This e-mail has been sent to inform you that your Home World transfer application for FINAL FANTASY XIV has been has been processed successfully.
    You can now log in and enjoy the game."

    Hmm, then idk. I would contact support if you cannot log in at all, if nothing else they can tell you the status. Support stinks however, so try to talk direct to someone, don't just submit an email it could be days/weeks before you hear back.

    I would also log completely out. Like shut down the app completely and try relaunching, if you haven't done so already.

    Thanks for the help. It does look like I will be able to log in (but I'm 10,927 in queue lol). I have shut down the app, restarted my computer, changed data servers, logged in with different characters etc... I found their phone number but they are closed on the weekends. If I cant get it working I will call them on Monday.

    Blerg that stinks. But hopefully all will be resolved soon! Good luck!
