It's time to remove job restrictions on glamour...

Role restrictions? (ie: maiming, fending, striking, casting etc.) Yeah, they need to go. Especially if they're willing to simply recolor and reshuffle the armor sets.

Right now there are some gear pieces I want on my Red Mage but I can't glamor it because it's healing only. For example I can't find a single mini-skirt that doesn't have leggings that I can equip. The Cashmere Skirt of Healing exists but there isn't one for casting. Also there are DoW skirts but I obviously can't use those either.

If you want it in black, there's the Hall of the Novice mage set, or the Acolyte version from the early dungeons (not sure what colour that is), or possibly you could use the Werewolf costume skirt which is dyeable.

What annoys me the most is that even when some gear share appearances, they dye differently. Get a caster set, it will mostly be black and whatever color you chose, get the healer reskin and I guarantee you half of it will be dyed in a pastel hue of whatever color you chose. It's infuriating when I want to dye something red and it comes out cotton candy pink as if I mixed reds and whites in the washing machine - if I wanted pink I'd use pink ffs.

I think the best thing at this point would be they make any future gear going forward from the get go available to wear as glam for all jobs.
Going back to all the previous gear could take time as much as i would love past gear on other jobs.
I also agree that artifact gear should remain job specific

I think people that make threads like this don't put much thought about how much freaking work it would take for the animators/designers to redo every piece of gear in the game....

You have the crafted uraeus one or as Iscah says, you have the novice skirt (more a less grey-blue) or lvl15-17 dungeons (brown leather).

As in getting things to fit on every race/size/job so it does not clip through pieces of gear and make it look actually decent.

That's... not necessary? Every single piece of gear is already set to be worn by every character. Every character can already BE every class in the game. People just want the gear to not be CLASS restricted unless it is the iconic ARTIFACT gear.

Oh my mistake read it wrong.

If that is the case I am still against it. I personally care about job immersion having a healer wearing tank gear would ruin the game for me.
