The Apocalypse is recruiting new and veteran players! Whether you're a new adventurer or a survivor of the Calamity, whether you're a veteran primal slayer or a bridge between beast tribes.

Can't find someone to help with content? Whether helping someone clear a dungeon for the first time, or pointing you in the right direction, some quick crafting or knocking off those roulettes. We don't leave anyone behind! We'll help you clear it, grind it and burn it to the ground!

Our company hosts weekly events such as mount farms and content clears.

We maintain daily buffs, a friendly atmosphere and have an active, drama-free FC chat and Discord server!

Hi, I just saw this post!

My current FC is very inactive, and the active ones are planning to get back into archeage at the end of the month.

I'm 100% an FFXIVer at heart, and I'm looking for a group of people to socialize / run content with casually and / or midcore.

I tried sending tells to no avail, so I figured I'd post a thread reply. Please let me know if you'd like me to send a friend request (or feel free to send me one). I have a couple questions before I commit, but at this point I am very open to transferring worlds if it seems like a good fit! I am in GMT-700 (North America Mountain Time), and I am on usually 3-4 evenings / nights a week.

*Edit* I'm currently on Behemoth, which is currently listed as a congested server thanks to all the bots that started popping up.

Ok so I jumped worlds to join The Apocalypse literally the day after posting in the forums to get in touch, and decided that this is definitely where I want to call 'home' in FFXIV. I'll give 5 quick reasons off the top of my head, to help encourage anyone who is also looking to go ahead and apply / contact the guild representatives:

1. This FC is super active and has lots of events. There are also always people around to chat with, level up with, or get help with things that need to get done.

2. The comradery of the FC. Everyone gets along well, is super nice, and works together to help eachother out or just do things together for fun.

3. Neoma... (inside joke where I was listing what I like about the FC in our FC chat and Neo decided to join the list)

4. The Discord is awesome! Sub-reasons:
- There is events signup polls where FC group activities are organized on a weekly basis
- The IRL support that everyone provides eachother. There is a casual area where people have a forum to share their IRL concerns, struggles, or hardships, and there is always someone there to offer support.. along with pictures of food and cute animals

5. Of the group activities I have done, its been the most fun I've had with other people since joining FFXIV! (Shout out to Lilith, Lian, Seigfreid, and Rudi)

you know, I think I may tag in at this point, even if I have the wrong theme in the background for typing out something like this. I joined the FC around the same time I joined the game proper. heck I've pretty much been in as long as I've been playing so hurrah on that front. I won't say much that doesn't need repeating. We're friendly enough, good for a laugh and a joke and for helping each other out. Need a hand with something? someone will be able to help with that, and we have buffs running to help people out. I can't think of a single 'bad person' in the FC right.

Events are run to help people grind for things like mounts if you want them, along with other things like treasure map hunts, and the Discord is a friendly place.

the only thing I'd note right now is that we DO NOT do things like Eden Savage and Extreme primals in an organised manner. I'm sure this can be amended in future, but just for right now if you want a static it's not here yet. I'm sure it's not far off
