missing the quest list on the site
Apart from the lag on loading filters mooglebox is great. Another site not mentioned that came about last patch is http://www.ffxiv-db.com/, though I don't think it has been updated for 1.21, but the quest tracker is a nice little tool
Should check out ours XD Has more than quests! plus a Google MapApart from the lag on loading filters mooglebox is great. Another site not mentioned that came about last patch is http://www.ffxiv-db.com/, though I don't think it has been updated for 1.21, but the quest tracker is a nice little tool

I didn't DAT mine in FF14 so not sure how FF14's one works but for FF11 they had names for all region inside the dat so easy to make database on my website I used to run. Maybe DAT extractor only pulling out English data or something??Because not all the stuff in there is a "Option" or "Preference" or "Setting", some is just information, or logs, I'd prefer "Control Panel" but its to fugly to have, Manager means to Manage your Account. The shortened version implies it XD
Hey Jet, when you datmine the data, do you fetch and include JP/GR/FR as they are automatic?
Mozk is good for some things, but if you want a more specific search I'd go with Mooglebox.
Agreed.. and I go to XIVPads.com for quest info.. and now server merge info
And DisciplesoftheLand.com for any gathering (Mooglebox does gathering, actually really well, but lack of fishing info kind of hurts)
I remember when YG was the only website you needed
MOBs, Items, Recipes, Even retainer info before there was a market search
YGs interface was just... just TOPS...
But fate was cruel to YG... MOBs, recipes, item stats... all changed... MOB placement changed every patch...
and since no one was using the YG updater anymore, ALL of the info was out of date...
But looking back, it was always out of date... there are MOBs on there that haven't been seen since Beta
Ideally they should have wiped MOB info every patch, but I guess
It was actually very exciting to learn new recipes as a community and not have SE tell us every single recipe
Like when we first figured out the Vintage Hauby recipe... or people banging their heads trying to figure out the vintage Jesters recipe
The most common tool to generate csv sheets throw out: JP/EN/GR/FR for all titles/descriptions XD
So yeh I was asking as its done automatic!
Sometimes what can happen is when trying to insert into typical sql database it messes up the formatting. Can be easily fixed thoz.
For JP stuff as long as it's in UTF-8 format it should be good, I used to have errors on MySQL (was when I just started doing database stuff so used to have it in SHIFT-JIS and EUC-JP and had issues lol)
The best way to solve the problem is to ditch the irritating "search while you type" fanciness, and do your filter only when the user hits the "filter" button. I could shoot Google for making people think this sort of thing is a good idea.Hey Antipika. Sorry that it lags like this. The JS is optimized, but hangs because of the vast amount of wvr recipes. I'm not making excuses... actually, I've chosen to display all the recipes on the screen at once. Other database sites use pagination, or break up the recipes into sections, because they want to avoid this type of lag.
FWIW, if SE removes old/dated recipes, then the list will shorten and it will become a lot faster. Each patch that comes out makes me hope this will happen.
