I only use Mooglebox, my issue with Mooglebox however is that their JScript to display/filter lists is really not optimized. Trying to display the list of all weaver items makes FF3.6/Chrome (latest) or IE9 freeze for a good moment before even being able to filter anything.

Then while filtering, freeze again. Once filtered, everything is all right. But cannot really filter at will without avoiding freezes due to the way the list work.

Hey Antipika. Sorry that it lags like this. The JS is optimized, but hangs because of the vast amount of wvr recipes. I'm not making excuses... actually, I've chosen to display all the recipes on the screen at once. Other database sites use pagination, or break up the recipes into sections, because they want to avoid this type of lag.

FWIW, if SE removes old/dated recipes, then the list will shorten and it will become a lot faster. Each patch that comes out makes me hope this will happen.

mooglebox is pretty much the only site on the internet that I use. Its filtering method is pretty much the easiest way to find what I need. mozk seems interesting.

Ls member told me about it best for crafting atm yg kinda died and the wiki's are laughable GE wiki ezeropedia costed me alot of gil once.

edit: works pretty well with firefox which is odd since i cant even sign into the offical ff14 forums with it.

I use MB everyday, but honestly I wish the theme never changed. I think it was much sleeker before.

When I came back after my break, everyone was leading me to Mooglebox...but honestly, I found another DB that's way better for the stuff I'm looking for and way better in general IMO.

And it was up to date faster then Mooglebox as well, considering 1.21.

The thing I prefer on Mozk, is just that it seems better organized and info is faster to be found.

Nontheless Mooglebox is a really good site and I still go there every here and there for stuff I want info on.

http://mozk-tabetai.com/ is really nice but it has some major flaws (which come with the design) like hotlinking items or copy pasting text and wtf case sensitve search!. But for browsing it is pretty nice.

Moogle box is really nice as well i use it mostly when i am comparing/looking stuff up for my character.

I have a lot of problems with the XIVPads site.. not so much in the design or it or how it looks but in the language they use.. for instance to go to your settings you click on Manager ?? "Manager"? Not Options or Preferences, or Settings but Manager? .. the entire site is like that.. it's kinda confusing.

I really hope the FFXIVPro/Guildwork guys get it in gear and get their sites up to date again.

Because not all the stuff in there is a "Option" or "Preference" or "Setting", some is just information, or logs, I'd prefer "Control Panel" but its to fugly to have, Manager means to Manage your Account. The shortened version implies it XD

Ah, yes, I forgot to mention, I'm gonna be adding French and German soon (probably in April). If anyone is willing to help me translate into Japanese, I'd be really grateful.

Hey Jet, when you datmine the data, do you fetch and include JP/GR/FR as they are automatic?

Hey, thanks for the reply. Yeah figured that this was a matter of personal choice more than anything.

Sadly counting on future patches will probably not help. Sure thing with 1.22 old recipes will be gone, but we can expect way more items to come from 2.0 and onward and the list will only become longer and longer with every patch release (let's say level cap is risen to 60, tons of 51-60 recipes will be added) etc.

Eventually in few years time, this "lag" will become unbearable. Wouldn't it be better to enable users to filter things before the full list is being displayed (most of crafters only need to display recipe within a ~10 level range).
