Handking's weapon are not meldable

All yellow scripts accessories ilvl 350 are convertible, but weapons and armor are not. Why is that ? They are fairly long to spiritbond, and i think they should be convertible. Is it intended for 5.0 or did SE just forgot ?

I get why you would make them unconvertible in 4.0, but not now.

EDIT : What i mean is, you cannot transform them into materia

Even without melding the stats are enough to get you to 80 with no problems. Why would they bother adding materia slots?

Yes you are right, i made a mistake, i intended to say they cannot be transformed into materia. I dont care about melding materia on them.
So for now, i keep all my Stormblood yellow scripts weapons and armor in my retainer in hope that they will change that... So i can have a few more materia to pentameld, which is quite expensive

This will likely come in a later patch, when they also make them able to be refunded for GC Seals.

I don't know. IIRC the level 60 tools still can't be traded for seals.
