


Slow down battles? Sure, as long as the rewards are worth the time spent.
We don't need to create a system specifically to combat powerleveling, nor will they do so. If I recall correctly Yoshida's official stance on the matter was that if people wanted to help their friends, they were welcome to do so even if that meant powerleveling.
You can't stop it from happening, people will find a way no matter what. It may be slightly more inconvenient but it won't go away completely unless you design a system that punishes ALL players, even the legit ones.
The method of gaining XP now is fine, the pace is a little too fast but the actual system in place is fine.
how many times have they changed or fixed the new system we have now? they probably will still do many fixes till 2.0. i wouldn't be suprised that even pl'ing changes in how you do it. but you guys really are only bitching about the broken parts of the old system, no offense but if they put as much work in it as they did this one it would of been great. don't understand really why they desided to fully scrap it and go with the same ol same ol but the old version to me was refreshign and fun. also by the end of it b4 they removed it you didn't even need the full 15 man ..you can do 4-6 and get max exp in fast past time just the same and no one got jiped sp. (though i loved 15man lol)
in the end like i said in old post, any and all mmo's pvp and pve need to start making there fights longer ...not shorter. make them more dynamic even if it means putting all there dungeon nm mechanics into them as well. it just makes exp'ing mroe fun, add way more chances of wiping in exp grinds. longer pvp with way more table turners and options in the fight. all this will make playing more fun then 5second kills to mobs that look different but all basically pan out the same. (though with ffxiv i think by 2.0 it won't be like this and more like ffxi at least with dispel probably coming and already having ensuna) all hope for 2.0 . . .
Yaaa, I'm worried about pvp, the one vs one fights are going to be like 20 seconds long. We are the same level ya know.



However they could have separate damage/stat modifiers for PvP specifically. Change how the formulas work if used against another player as opposed to an enemy.
I'm an honest person, I've said MANY TIMES that I ENJOY the game. Theres just a few things that I would like to have changed and it would be perfect, but nothing is perfect, and if these things don't get changed it's not a game breaker for me. All you have to do is try, that's what I'm doing. Whether people like the ideas or not, you still gotta keep trying, maybe that's why you guys think I'm a troll or a hater on the game. I also don't hate anyone on these forums.
