    The old system led to such an imbalance of level gains and discouraged people from playing jobs that didn't level as fast as others. It also encouraged people to take their time fighting a single mob to get the most xp out of it rather then outright killing it and move on. A game that encourages you to level up through means of holding a mob isn't a good way to go about it, it's better to fight a horde of mobs rather then attacking something and waiting for the random number generator to grace you with xp gains.

    I don't understand why ppl wanna spend 5 mins fighting a world fodder mob. Leave the long fights for the more bigger monster's.

    Nope, terrible idea. Standing around hitting one mob without using any skills was one of the worst gameplay experiences I could remember. Even worse now with auto attack, at least before you had to press buttons.

    We'd go right back to the horribleness of us healers not being able to get SP, or curing people granting SP(Which in itself grants an exploit.).

    The whole idea of us having to drag out fights so others can get SP is ridiculous.

    Yes it was bad back then, though leveling didn't take long(only fatigue made that happen). Thats what made the leveling experience worse.

    I would like to think that people would think that I'm not just asking for the same old same old. I want something new of the old style, or add some type of "Weapon-Skill-Up".
