Do people really wipe constantly and vote abandon WoD? I have never seen that. I rarely see any wipes there at all. Most WoD runs only take slightly longer than the average LotA.

I’ve seen a handful of them. Usually people not going into Cerberus’ stomach or people playing chicken with the fetters after the stomach phase—seen it more than once recently where they try to time it to the end of the Reawakening cast, but end up losing the chain and then can’t get it back to him in time (hello, 16 stacks of Haste). However, I still see wipes to Ancient Flare in LotA because people want to try to burn the boss. So it’s about the same. Haven’t seen a WoD Vote Abandon in a long time—at least, not on Aether.

Personally, I’m sick of Crystal Tower every day. So I’d be all for enforcements to prevent item level cheesing.

Personal experience is that, due to not knowing/following mechanics, roughly 1 in 3 fail outright, and 2 in 3 have at least one wipe. I've had two Orbonne runs since it became "old content" (aka 5.0), and both failed at Cid. And I've seen dozens of similar complaints on reddit/discord.

Never experienced that myself.
Never had a vote abandon in WoD, worst I’ve ever had it was 1 wipe to Angra Mainyu, followed by success, and 1 wipe to Cloud of Darkness followed by clear.

Orbonne is a bit trickier, had abandons a few times, but majority of the time we complete.

Its rare to see any wipes in World of Dankness though usually its a bad sign if theres a wipe on "Anger Management". Occasionally on Mhach too if theres wipes on Derpguise! Orbonne on the other hand you'll expect wipes and quittings because it takes much longer for minimal benefit. Also have to remember lower roulettes will be more common as the lower you go the more have it unlocked as opposed to higher level ones.

Did any of the players complaing checked if there is the first timer bonus? I have more often the bonus in every ARR runs than when I have the HW or SB runs. And since I have an alt I do TWO runs a day. It sounds really weird to me there could be that many "fake" tag when it is not at all what I experience, especially since people complaining here escape this question.

I’ve noticed getting CT raids with no bonus before. However, it’s not uncommon to see players zoning in with no clothes on and then suddenly popping them back on—bonus or no bonus.

I'm quite happy to get Labyrinth or Syrcus. It means my Alliance roulette will be over that much more quickly.

I hate getting World of Darkness or Orbonne due to the fact that there's a good chance it's going to end in a Vote Abandon.

Because I have played since 1.0 and never unsubbed, I'm pretty "over" the old raids. I don't hate them, but I wouldn't do them at all anymore if it wasn't for the massive XP you can get. So whichever ones allow me to get it over with the fastest are perfectly fine with me.

I get it some ppl still struggle with orbonne monastery but world of darkness?

You'll be shocked at the number of people who can't stand on a glowing circle to save the other alliances during Atomos Prime.

If people are withdrawing because the bonus is better somewhere else, then treat it as a penalty.

I've got Castrum many times in MSQ roulette. People don't quit out of it. Even though it's more annoying than Praetorium, and gives less rewards.

The same would be true of Alliance raids rewards scaling.

If people are currently avoiding the higher level raids, then the current system is alreasy doing that.
Make the higher level raids reward more.

Except... that's a myth... you don't even read the roulette rules -_- Go check yourself if you don't believe me. Everything you get from the run itself is soustracted, it doesn't count.

The rewards in roulettes, both gils and experience are based on the level of your job and the kind of job you tag with, nothing more, nothing less. In other words : roulettes rewards are roulettes rewards, dungeons or raids in themselves don't count.
