Does the community ever have a constructive conversation about RMT?

May be against the Service tho, Parsers still dont get banned if they execute their Programs and this is known.

They have a "don't ask, don't tell" policy with parsers. They are against the ToS, along with any other 3rd party program that interacts with FF14. However, as long as you don't use parsers in a way that negatively impacts other players (i.e. posting low dps to shame people, etc), then they look the other way.

RMT, however, by definition affects other players. So by default, RMT is not allowed in any circumstance and any instance of it they can confirm will be punished.

Permanently only if you have several penalties on your account already. You'd have to do something like intentionally bring down the servers to get permabanned for a first-time offense. SE bans players only as an absolute last resort. For RMT, you'd have to get caught something like three or four different times to get a perma.

Not true in the slightest. People can and have been permabanned for their first offense if it was RMT.

RMT's are on the PF Selling Ex Trial Wins/Eden Savage clears for paypal transfers.

The other ones that are selling gil for money still are the Aethersand bots and the players using multiple 3rd party tools to craft items non-stop. If your in my data center, this crafter has his signature written on almost everyone's gear. I guess you could say they were all Obtaining his Signtaure.

Basicly in FF14 Money are used to Teleport when you don't free ticket anymore ... RMT are stupid, losing your account for this shit make no sense.

And the most funny part is that you can make easy money with no effort. Right now just use your new tome to buy crafting stuff, 20 tomes = 25K gils. Why the fck do you need RMT ?

If you need gils... first how many gils do you need and why? Does it really worth it? It is just a high number of a virtual money with no use or no meaning outside the game. Gils are not some kind of bitcoins.

The only two expensive things in the game are mansions and glamours (but they are not that many). Mansions... there are not enough plots anyway and glamours... two or three aircuts, a few clothes, you need... 5~10M. If you spend more it means you want "to be the first with". Does it make any sense since EVERYONE will be able to get it if he is able to express a little bit of patience?

And raiders... they can make money with sellable items from savages and the gear, you can get it with raids and tomes. So... why do you need that many gils?

You can't sell Savage raid drops AFAIK.

EDIT : That's right it doesn't seem to be anything special for Omega's raids. But it remains extrem trials that are usefull for the weapon, usually.
