I'm thinking Tanks need a cone attack AOE for their LB's.
Does anyone actually use tank LB for anything?

Some cheese strats, or more likely at the end of a run because the DPS forgot to use it on the boss and the tank just wanted to see what it looked like for once.
But yeah, a damaging or a crippling debuff tank LB would be nice. Especially since a barrier LB only really makes sense for Pld. I wish Drk/War/Gun could pull from past games super attacks. A Darkness attack like Cecil's, I have no idea for War, and Lionheart would be awesome. ^^ It'll never happen but it's be awesome.
I think you're speaking my language. A debuff would actually be pretty amazing alongside some damage. Some cheese strats, or more likely at the end of a run because the DPS forgot to use it on the boss and the tank just wanted to see what it looked like for once.

I wouldn't say it will never happen. Once upon a time, Bard LB was same as healers.
It's required to survive Alexander Prime's Divine Judgement, after the add phase.
It's useless against the second Divine Judgement, because that's his hard enrage and you should never see it.
