    Well overhealing is not good regardless of the content, not sure why it specifically relates to "raid performance". Also if the only option available is to overheal then you would be better off DPSing anyway, as that's what would be expected from you in most raids scenarios (unless you have a static then you can play however you want with them). You can have intensive healing situations but the way in which things are scripted (and eventual overgearing), you will always have downtime to be doing other things.
